Biography:
Edward read history at Edinburgh University and attained an MA (Hons) in 1993. Following his graduation he worked in the corporate hospitality industry until his conversion to law from 1996 to 1998.
He trained with Wannop & Fox in Chichester and qualified as a solicitor in 2000. He moved to Shakespeares in 2001 before joining Lanyon Bowdler in February 2004.
Edward specialises in Tax Planning, Wills, Trusts and Administration of Estates. He also deals with the full range of Court of Protection work.
He is a member of the regional committee of Solicitors for the Elderly. Over the last year he has appeared regularly on Radio Shropshire talking about a variety of private client issues (including The Mental Capacity Act 2005, Enduring Powers of Attorney and the Civil Partnership Act). He also regularly contributes articles for publication in the local press.
Edward is married to Holly. They have a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. On occasion Edward can also be spotted playing tenor and soprano saxophone with the Shrewsbury Big Band and the Simon King Octet.
