Topic:  A lecture by the SFE President Ann Edis on Elder Abuse

 

Covering:  Professional issues and the older person

                  What do we mean by abuse?

                   How do we identify it?

                  What can we do about it?

                  Where do we turn for help?

 

Anne Edis is a well known and respected lecturer on Older Client issues for STEP, the Law Society and CLT. She contributes to Elderly client adviser and the 2nd edition of the Elderly client handbook. She is President of SFE.

She has written the SFE Policy on Elder Abuse which has been shared with all SFE members and is now with the Law Society to be approved for the profession.

 

This lecture has been developed specifically for

Regional Groups of SFE

 

 

We expect a lot of interest in this course.  Early booking is advised. By 1st November at the latest please.
