Denzil Lush

Solicitor and  Master of the former Court of Protection and now the Senior Judge of the newly established Court of Protection. He is the author  of  'Cretney & Lush on Enduring Powers of Attorney',  'Elderly Clients - A Precedent Manual',  Jordans Publishers, 'Cohabitation: Law Practice and Precedents' (2nd edition, 2001), and the General Editor of Heywood & Massey’s ‘Court of Protection Practice’ (Sweet and Maxwell).

 

Gordon R Ashton

Appointed as District Judge at Preston in 1992 and Deputy Master of the Court of Protection in 2001. He is now a Nominated Judge of the Court of Protection for Preston.  He writes extensively on topics concerning older and mentally disabled people and the law.  His publications include 'Mental Handicap and the Law' (Sweet & Maxwell, 1992), 'Elderly People and the Law' (Butterworths, 1995), 'The Elderly Client Handbook' (The Law Society, 1st and 2nd editions and Consultant Editor of the 3rd edition), 'Mental Capacity- The New Law' (Jordans 2006).
