Advising the elderly client in a recession
The UK is in the grip of the worst recession since the Second World War and we and our clients are feeling the pressure. We are hearing that funding of care provision for the older person is woefully inadequate and cuts in public spending mean that services that were once available to the older person are being reduced. Practitioners are also under pressure to maximise profitability within their own businesses as more firms struggle to survive. This years conference aims to equip the private client lawyer specialising in advising the older and vulnerable client to ensure that their clients are getting the care and funding that they should be entitled to, whilst maximising their own profitability. Delegates will benefit from hearing from a number of speakers who have a wide variety of expertise in these areas.
